Our Services Deep Dive:

What Does Each Service Really Do? -

And why it’s right for your vehicle. (or not)

WHat is an iron decontamination?

Iron decontamination removes microscopic metal particles (known as “rail dust” or “industrial fallout”) that embed themselves in your vehicle’s paint over time. These tiny iron deposits come from brake dust, construction, and pollution — and if left untreated, they can cause rust spots, staining, and a rough paint texture. This chemical process safely dissolves those contaminants without scrubbing, clearing your paints’ pours, restoring smoothness and prepping the paint for polishing or protection. Reduces friction/ rough feel, and helps waxes and sealants bond with your vehicle more effectively.

Service Recommendation: Every 3-6 months, or before applying any wax, sealant, or ceramic coating.

What is our plastic and trim protection?

Plastic and trim protection restores faded black plastics and rubber surfaces while adding a UV-resistant barrier to prevent future fading, cracking, or discoloration. Over time, unprotected trim can turn gray or chalky — especially under strong sun or winter salt exposure. This service enhances color, depth, and finish, giving your car that crisp, detailed look with long-lasting protection.

Service Recommendation: Every 3–6 months, depending on exposure to sunlight and weather conditions.

What is a sealant?

A paint sealant provides a durable, high-gloss layer of protection between your vehicle’s paint and the elements. Unlike traditional waxes, modern spray-on sealants bond to the paint for superior water beading, UV resistance, and long-lasting shine. It’s a perfect maintenance option after a full detail, keeping your car protected and glossy with minimal effort.

Service Recommendation: Every 3-4 months, or after major washes to maintain protection and hydrophobic performance.

What is a clay bar treatment?

A clay bar treatment deep-cleans your paint surface by removing bonded contaminants that washing alone can’t eliminate — like tar, tree sap, overspray, and road grime. This process leaves the paint silky smooth, enhances gloss, and ensures waxes or sealants bond properly for maximum durability. It’s the perfect follow-up to iron decontamination and essential for achieving that glass-like finish. It works hand-in-hand with any iron decontamination or works great as a stand-alone treatment if done more often.

Service Recommendation: Every 3–12 months, or prior to any paint correction, waxing, sealant, or coating service. (varies significantly based on your vehicle use, maintenance, and everyday conditions)

What is a Glass Ceramic Coating?

A glass ceramic coating forms a durable, hydrophobic layer over your windshield and windows, causing water, dirt, and snow to bead off effortlessly. This improves visibility, makes cleaning easier, and greatly reduces the need for wiper use in rainy or snowy conditions. It also prevents hard water spots and chemical etching, keeping your glass crystal clear for months.

Service Recommendation: Every 10 –12 months for daily drivers; reapply sooner in harsh conditions, if needed.

WHat is an Acid wash?

An acid wash (also known as our acid pre-wash) is a professional-grade cleaning step that breaks down heavy mineral buildup, water spots, and stubborn road film — especially on vehicles exposed to salt, hard water, or neglected washing routines. This specialized formula gently restores shine and helps prevent long-term etching or dullness on painted surfaces and wheels. It’s ideal for deep cleans or vehicles with noticeable surface contamination.

Service Recommendation: Every 6 months, or as needed for vehicles regularly exposed to road salt, hard water, or harsh elements.
